He then expanded his responsibilities to include System Ownership and Head of Operations for more than 40 Development applications.Today, Amar heads the Automation Office in Healthcare, which was started in 2019.Under his leadership the Automation Office has established clear governance and scalable capabilities.These capabilities include an end-to-end Intelligent Process Automation suite with GxP compliant and fully validated products.With this setup, the Automation Office has successfully implemented about 40 automation projects across the Healthcare Business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany supporting business strategic goals and returning thousands of hours to the business each year.
